EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom)

A Progressive Journey: Our Outdoor Education Cycle We believe that some of the best learning happens in the great outdoors. Our biennial camp rotation ensures that every student experiences a diverse range of environments and challenges during their time with us:

• Year 5 & 6: Building Foundations at Vertical Horizons Every second year, our Year 5 & 6 students head to Vertical Horizons. This camp is all about building confidence, trying new things, and fostering teamwork through high-energy outdoor activities.

• Year 7 & 8: Developing Leadership at Forest Lakes & Te Wera Our seniors alternate between the lakeside adventures of Forest Lakes and the unique rugged environment of Te Wera. These camps are the pinnacle of our EOTC program, where Year 7 and 8 students take on higher levels of responsibility, helping plan the experience and lead their peers.
